Impromptu Romance…

On this day many moons ago I met Richard, at a small party that Nick  was having up at his – curry night out 13th and then camping 14th… somewhere (I Can;t remember! :( yorkshire moors somewhere… cold and remote!!!) yes in Feb and YES outdoors!!! … we chatted late into the night on the 13th and then sat around a log fire at the pub where we were camping on the 14th – again chatting long into the night… and the rest they say is history…

We usually celebrate Valentines day on the 13th as this is the day we met, so hey why not?  We have had some lovely celebrations… :Dx

Anyways this year what with one thing and another – I just decided to let it go… I just couldn’t really be bothered if Im honest! :( I just feel exhaused with daily life… and trying to be romantic and oooie goooooie – well this year I am failing BIG time at that too…BUT it would appear someone else had other ideas…

I arrived home today after a few days away to find we had no heating or hot water, (I am not technical in these things,  but/ so …)  I  called an Electrician as it was tripping the switch… I think thats what you call it… as I stood there in the freezing cold thinking and wishing it me the switch was tripping!!!

Well Electrician came and went – very nice guy, very helpful – but it was a boiler issue therefore needed a plumper…

OK

Plumber called – he came – again a really nice guy… ummm yes, looked around – yup its the pump… 40mins later new pump fitted – heating and hot water bubbling away…  YAH getting all toasty - heating on full blast… He left – off to his next job in Cambridge…

30 mins later… you guessed it…

switch tripped again… ummmm, re-flipped switch and messed around a bit OMG… didn’t want to call him back he was on his way to Cambridge… and I would seem like a complete bimbo… as surely it was something I was doing… but no everytime – bang – switch flipped – no more  hot water or heating!!! Brrrrh also outside snow was falling thick and fast now – making it feel even colder than it most likely was.

Enough said – Children and dog (bonus) at my mothers – so making the most of it -  I have lit a beautiful fire – sent Ricahrd to Waitrose for the valentine special for dinner – and bingo with really no organising or stress at all I have a lovely (yes cold but!!! can cuddle up for warmth) romantic night infront of a log fire for our anniversary :D )

Me = one very happy love bunny,  inprontu romantic evening and although it maybe as cold as it was camping at least I’ll be sleeping in my own bed! LOL xx
