FB omg…

Facebook is a thing a law unto itself…  and I am honestly not a huge fan in lots of ways but in other ways I can see some fun in it… BUT I have had a funny minor hicup with it – could have caused family feuds and all sorts but as far as I am aware hasn’t but seriously could have…

The tale as to why I have a FB marriage – so if you are the next person to ask me about it… Here is the tale…

Back in January 2012 my dearly beloved (we have been together since 1999 and have 2 children together) started a new job working for Bennetts BGL Group – he had a facebook page registered but had never really used it… his new job is fairly into social media – well Facebook! I made the fatale mistake or teasing him about having the same status as me… and being a copy cat!! My Status was Complicated for me it was simple but to others they didn’t really seem to understand why we weren’t married – we had been together since  1999, we had bought a house together, moved to Munich together, had 2 children together, sold a house, bought a plot of land, sold a plot of land, have a VW camper together – daisy, have a boat together – harris hawk, have a dog together – storm (although I deal with the dog!!!)  been through some very rough lifes ups and downs…and more to come I am sure.

At one point before the children we were set to get married – we looked at venues, caterers, stationary, photographers, I’d tried on Dresses and looked at rings…

but it didn’t happen, to be totally honest I didn’t really want it – I felt like everyone else wanted it for me – but honestly not me, oh don’t get me wrong,

The ROCK definitely no argument or problem on that front!!!

The Party…

BRING IT ON

The price of everything for 1 day… No thank you…  and yes I hear you peeps saying its not just one day its the rest of your life – but to me it wasn’t really anything to do with the rest of my life, whether I had any of the above or not was not going to (in my opinion)  make any difference to the rest of my life, and I can honestly say looking back today I am not sure if I was Mrs L Cooper having had that day of my life… I would be in any different place to I am now – so some will say – but if x,y or z had happened you may have been/would have been better off – yes…  MAY HAVE BEEN, but if I was really worried about those things (some of which honestly I should probably be more worried about!!) but I could do a multitude of things to sort or make ok without getting married.
